Arab High School Band Building

Poole and Company worked with the Arab City Schools to design and develop a new 7,500 SF Band Building for Arab High School. The project included a band rehearsal room, practice rooms, ensemble room, administrative, and instrument, uniform, and percussion storage areas. Acoustics were an integral part of the design process to ensure quality sound control, implemented by the size and proportions of the band room as well as applied materials. Selection of durable, maintainable materials was of primary importance for a school setting, especially when considering life-cycle costs.
