Rooted in a century of history, the former Lewter Hardware building in downtown Huntsville offered the perfect foundation for Brick & Tin’s expansion beyond Birmingham. This adaptive reuse project grew from Poole & Company’s long-standing collaboration with owner Mauricio Papapietro, shaping a chef-driven restaurant and bar that feels both familiar and newly alive. By honoring the building’s original character while thoughtfully reimagining its interiors, the space continues the Brick & Tin’s architectural identify of a welcoming gathering place for the community in a character-rich environment.
